Would you like to be famous why not for the Money, recognition, invites to great parties, meeting other famous people, respect, love, get to wear glamorous clothes and go to glamorous places, you get given free stuff from top designers, buy your own jet ? the list is potentially endless! You may think ''why wouldn't I want to be famous'' with perks like this!You may also feel that fame is the only way to find purpose and meaning for your existence or that you wish to be immortal, and finding a way onto some permanent public record or entry into a history book is the way to achieve that! Perhaps you lack self-confidence and just want to be loved????by thousands of people!

cbi basketball

Every game of this tournament is played on the home court of the higher seed. There are four regions and four teams per region. For the final four the teams are reseeded. This way they can still play the semifinal games at the home of the higher seeds. Postseason basketball should still feel like basketball. The way the NCAA has sold out and decided to play the regional championship games in gigantic football stadiums to make as much money as possible ruins the atmosphere. The CBI creates a great atmosphere.
The championship is a best of three series. I repeat a best of three series! First game at the higher seed, second game at lower seed, and if needed a third game at the home of the higher seed. This is one of the best things I have ever heard of. This is how championships are won in the NBA and I love the idea of a championship series in college hoops. Like I said this allows for these games to actually feel like basketball games.This is why i like this new leauge.

Tattos

I have nine tattoos on me and i have both of my ears pierced. I have a sleeve on my arm, that is still under construction. It says loyalty and has my family members all around it. I also have another one on the back of my neck that stands for getting dollars. I been had my ears pierced now for a while since I was a young boy. I plan on getting more tattoos my next project i plan on getting my chest done. I will get my mom and my sisters face on my shoulder blades and i will have my angels in the middle going across my chest. I plan on getting many more tattoos so this is jus the beginning i plan on contiune to grt tattooed until about 25 then after i reach that age i will call it quits.

BackGround

My cutrual backround is a lot of different things. my grandmother is chinese and my grandfather is black and french. that is my mothers parents. On my fathers side my grand mother is half black and half indian. My grand father is fully black. So as you can see i am full of a lot of things i come from a very cultured background i was born and raised in Oakland,Ca went to high school in Antioch,Ca and now i am in college. I have a older sister and a younger brother as well.

Yhe arthor states in this essay that he does not like this poem. By stating that the nicknames used in the poem were unneccesary and were not called for as well. His thesis statement stated all his dislikes and likes he would be talking as well. "Thus they have taken a singular delight in exhibiting their most private foibles in a laughable point of view; and have been so successful in their delineations, that there is scarcely a being in actual existence more absolutely present to the public mind than that eccentric personage, John Bull."
I did not really know whwere the conclusion was going with this author. But his writing style was a critic so to speak about this poem.

This arthors approach on yhis essay was more of a sad/sorrow story. About a man who negelected his feelings in the earlier stages of his life. Now inaddition to that now his life as an older gentleman is very sad and filled with sorrow.His thesis statement was very good he explained all the points about is essay in his thesis statement."MR. AITKEN: Your Old Bachelor having pathetically represented the miseries of his solitary situation, severely reproaching himself for having neglected to marry in his younger days, I would fain alleviate his distress, by showing that it is possible he might have been as unhappy—even in the honorable state of matrimony." in conclusion his life was filled with sorrow and despare.

After reading this passage i found out what not to do in a paper. To stir away from annoying phrases like they showed in the article i read. So by reading this article, it helps me write my paper fpr my slo exam. so i believe my paper will be a good one. Because I know what not to write and how to write things as well. So in conclusion this article was very helpful and i believe everyone will agree with me as well.

Today i took a test on messed up sentences. I got all of them write as well. It showed you to look out for run ons, comma slices, imcomplete sentencesand etc. I feel i have a pretty good eye for these things that is probly the reason why i did so well.

Obama

I felt real good yesterday hearing Obama speech. this is the first time since MLK that we have had a strong black figure move a crowd like Obama did last night. I feel that this is only the beginning and he will do great things for this nations and for us as a people as well. After hearing him speak made me believe that now i really can do anything. People told us as kids that when we got older we could do anything we wanted but now its a reality, President Obama made it a reality. So, now all we can do is move forward because this we are now history we are the first generation to see a BLACK President.

OBAMA BRUH!!!!

Today i voted for the first black president elective, this is history in the making. This is the first time a black man has ever got this far in a presidential election. I feel it is time for change and what better place to start than with Obama. In the long run i feel by him becoming president will make us look more appealing on a international level. Because he is a man of ethnicity.

ENGLISH GOAL

my goals for English is to pass the class, write essays better and also prepare essays better. By doing this i believe that i will pass this class. and my topic for my the final project is the death penalty.

Conflict

i find it more effective to talk out your problems. The most effective way to do this is after everyone is not mad any more and everyone is calmed down. By doing this no ones emotion will be involved and everyone will have a clear and stable mind. So this is a very good way to resolve problems with out any fighting or etc.

listening test

today i took the listening test. i think I'm a very good listener, the test said otherwise. it said i listen well but i can improve on it. in some ways i agree with it but i think its not giving me enough credit. cause i listen very well and others have said that in the past as well. my score was 60/100

self esteem and topic.

1. I was not very surprised about my self esteem. i knew i would score high because i am very aware of my abilities. in addition to that i am very comfortable in my own skin as well, i also am very social, don't let what people say to me or get to me and etc. i tend to only worry about myself some time to some that might be considered selfish but look at it like this if you don't look out for your self who else in the world will.

2.Culture means ones surroundings and core values of their up bringing. Depending on which culture you are from your values will vary. depending on your cultural surroundings that will depict on how you are as a person and etc. in addition to that that will give you the core values that you will live by or choose to live by in your life.

i think i did good i stated what i wanted to talk about and did jus that. next time i will probly use a better visual aid but overall i think i did good.

Learning style

After finishing my self assestment test to figure out my learning style i found out i was a social learner. which describes me very well because i get along wit people and i like being social. on the contrary sometimes i like to keep to my self, but for the most part i am a very social person. my test scores was.
